Ineo participates in a project for the improvement of respirators - COVID19

Due to the current health emergency, assisted breathing equipments are scarce in hospitals and ICUs, generating a need for the development of a 3D part that allows the use of an assisted breathing equipment, initially designed for one person, to the assistance for two patients but can even reach up to three or even four patients simultaneously, with the same ventilatory requirements.

The production of these pieces began yesterday March 24, 2020 in the afternoon and is being carried out by a group of companies that have offered their facilities and production capacity to this project.

Ineo is part of this group of companies that have voluntarily offered their facilities and production capacity in order to carry out this project and since yesterday we are already manufacturing pieces.

The Intensive Care Units of the Hospital de la Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona and the Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa carry out the protocolization and implementation.

Due to the rapid implementation and effect on patients, the production of this device has been prioritized, so that today, March 26, 2020, 200 units will already be available, and it is expected to be able to have 1,000 units available next week.
