Engineering & Product Design
At Ineo, we offer a comprehensive solution to our customers, as we are able to participate in any stage of the engineering and design process. We make it possible to transform abstract ideas into tangible and functional products, optimizing each phase to reduce costs and ensure the industrial viability of every project
Engineering and design
We know that the reduction of time from the first idea to the availability in the market of new products is essential to its success. Therefore, we have a team of expert professionals with the appropriate technical training.
Our technicians use the most advanced software and manufacturing technologies to help our customers to achieve this goal and shape their ideas.
Our comprehensive solution includes project analysis, design, prototypes and manufacture of a small batch production of parts in final material.
We can collaborate with our clients at any stage of the process. Ask us your needs and we will get involved in your project.
At Ineo, we don't just manufacture components; we build solutions. We ensure that each technical stage adds value to your initial vision, guaranteeing that the final product is functional, efficient, and meets the most demanding industry standards.

FAQs – Engineering & Product Design – Project Development Insights
- What does Ineo cover in the engineering and product design phase?
The service covers the full development process from initial concept analysis through CAD modelling, prototype creation and preparation for industrial production. - Can Ineo develop CAD models from early-stage ideas or sketches?
Yes, concepts can be transformed into detailed 3D CAD models ready for prototyping, testing and manufacturing validation. - How does the design process connect to prototyping and production?
Design is directly linked to manufacturing technologies, allowing prototypes and pre-series parts to be validated before industrialisation. - What information is needed to start a product design project?
Early sketches, 2D drawings, technical specifications or even basic ideas can be used as a starting point for development. - Can engineering support include design for manufacturing and series production?
Yes, designs are developed with manufacturing feasibility in mind, supporting transition from prototype to series or final production.

Manufacturing technologies availables at Ineo
One of the great advantages of the application of additive manufacturing technologies in the development of products is that the design does not end when production begins. This is because these technologies allow a continuous improvement of the products and the optimization of the processes of assembly and quality control.
Technology or materials should not limit the ability of the designer to develop products. We will find the right combination of technology, materials and finishes to shape your project. For this, we have a wide range of materials and various additive manufacturing technologies.
Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing)

Stereolithography (SLA)
Additive manufacturing technology, through which pieces of epoxy resin are obtained with excellent reproduction of details and precision, which allow different surface finishes.

Laser Sintering (SLS)
Additive manufacturing technology that allows to obtain functional parts with an excellent mechanical behaviour that can be used for multiple applications.

HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF)
HP additive manufacturing (3D printing) technology that delivers high print speed and excellent resolution, as well as excellent mechanical performance.

Fused deposition modeling (FDM)
Additive manufacturing technology, through which parts with a variety of high-performance thermoplastics and approved materials for the aeronautical industry can be manufactured.

Metal 3D printing (SLM)
Additive manufacturing technology, by which highly complex metal parts can be manufactured quickly and which provides almost unlimited design flexibility.

Other technologies

Vacuum Casting
Manufacturing technology that allows the reproduction of parts in polyurethane resin using a silicone mould. Rapid production of prototypes, low volume manufacturing and final parts.

CNC Machining
Manufacturing technology that allows parts to be manufactured by extracting material from a block. Said operations are carried out on Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines.

Rapid Tooling
Manufacturing technology for the production of series of plastic and metal parts; Prototype Molds allow parts to be manufactured as a preliminary step to large-scale manufacturing.

Metal Pressing
Metal Pressing is a manufacturing technology that makes it possible to obtain metal parts by subjecting the material to a compression load between two moulds, which are steel stamps or dies.

Metal injection Molding (MIM)
Metal Injection moulding (MIM) production allows the manufacture of metal components of small size and complex geometry.

Vacuum Forming
A manufacturing process widely used for the production of packaging, automotive parts, electronic product casing, casings for the medical and healthcare sectors, interior trim for vehicles, among others.
Delivery Times for Engineering and Design Services
Do you need your surface finishes ASAP?
Ineo provides manufacturing services for professional applications, guaranteeing fast-turnaround deliveries with optimized lead times.
We advise, design, manufacture, and distribute nationally and internationally from Terrassa (Barcelona, Spain).
📦 No minimum order quantity – Guaranteed delivery times – Technical support
Delivery Times:
The delivery time for CAD design work will depend on the type and complexity of the project.
In general, the estimated lead times are as follows:
- Simple projects (such as individual parts with basic shapes): between 3 and 5 business days.
- Intermediate projects (mechanical assemblies): between 3 business days and 2 weeks.
- Complex projects (large assemblies, advanced 3D modelling): from 1 week to 6 weeks, depending on specific requirements.
These lead times begin once the order is confirmed and all the necessary information has been received (technical specifications, sketches, measurements, etc.).
If an urgent delivery is required, please contact us to evaluate feasibility and special conditions for priority service.
